US musician P. Diddy is facing serious allegations. There is now a provisional date for the start of the trial – and possibly further allegations.
The trial against US rapper Sean “P. Diddy” Combs, 54, who is accused of numerous sexual crimes and is in custody, could start in May. A court in New York tentatively scheduled the start for May 5, 2025.
However, the investigation into, among other things, Combs’ cell phone data was still ongoing, the public prosecutor’s office said. This could result in further accusations and as a result the start of the trial could be postponed.

The rapper’s defense had already announced in advance of the hearing that it would ask for the trial to begin in the spring. In addition, efforts are continuing to get Combs released from custody under conditions and with bail. This had already been rejected several times.
Combs appeared at the hearing before Judge Arun Subramanian wearing brown prisoner clothing. According to US media reports, his mother and children were also in the room.
The musician, who was one of the most successful rappers in the world in recent decades with hits like “I’ll Be Missing You” and “Bad Boy For Life”, has been in custody for several weeks. The rapper is accused of sex trafficking, organized crime and other crimes. There are also already several civil lawsuits alleging sexual abuse. Combs denies the allegations.
