Are Nicole Kidman and Salma Hayek not on good terms? A video that has now gone viral has the rumor mill churning.
Was it just a careless act amidst the flashbulbs or did it hint at a possible feud between two Hollywood heavyweights? is currently going viral, which was taken at the end of September during the Balenciaga show at Fashion Week in Paris. It shows Nicole Kidman (57) wearing large black sunglasses, who is supposedly annoyed by Salma Hayek (58) and is determinedly pushing away her Hollywood colleague’s hand.
In fact, Kidman doesn’t seem to have liked Hayek touching her shoulder at that moment. The “Desperados” star simply tried to turn her colleague in the direction of the photographers who wanted to take a picture of the actresses together, but Kidman had his back turned. However, Kidman ignored the “Ladies, please” from one of the photographers as well as Hayek’s attempts and instead pulled von Dannen.
Hayek actually seemed a bit taken aback. However, another well-known star was already lining up to have her photo taken with her. Katy Perry (39) ended up posing with the Mexican-American actress instead of Kidman.
Was this the reason for Nicole Kidman’s behavior?
Actually, Hayek and Kidman should be pulling in the same direction just because of the luxury fashion brand. Hayek’s billionaire husband François-Henri Pinault (62) owns Balenciaga, and Kidman is now one of the biggest brand ambassadors.
At the beginning of October, Hayek finally had some snapshots from the event. One of them shows her posing with Kidman. But even during the recording – at least many people in the comments section assume – Kidman adopted a very negative attitude. While Hayek looks professionally into the camera, the “Eyes Wide Shut” star lowers his gaze.
A more than understandable explanation for Kidman’s apparent distance: Only around three weeks earlier she had to cope with the unexpected death of her mother Janelle Ann Kidman.
