Jeremy Clarkson has revealed that he had heart surgery and had a stent inserted.
Jeremy Clarkson (64) has had heart surgery. The British presenter has this. I first noticed problems during a recent vacation and had complications while swimming. Back in England, however, “the sudden decline” in his health accelerated.
“Man, that was close” with Jeremy Clarkson
Clarkson, who is best known in this country for shows like the car magazines “Top Gear” and “The Grand Tour,” woke up on Wednesday morning and didn’t feel particularly well. Among other things, he felt a tightness in his chest. Later there was a tingling sensation and a feeling of pins and needles in the left arm.
In a hospital in Oxford, several tests were carried out to rule out the possibility of a heart attack. It was discovered that one of his arteries was completely blocked and a second one was on the way there. A so-called stent was therefore inserted into him – to keep the vessels open. The next morning he was able to leave the hospital “and here I am, two hours later, writing this and thinking: ‘Man, that was close’.”
On Instagram that it was a “shitty week”. Not only did he have to have an operation, one of his dogs was also under the knife while he was writing the lines. “The poor thing” is suffering from a uterine infection.
