After Sat.1 showed scenes in which he and his girlfriend talked about having children and getting married (Lahouar said, among other things, the sentence: “Leyla Heiter would sound good, wouldn’t it?”), the The 32-year-old, who has gone through formats, was asked to have a private audience with “Big Brother” – the authority that calls the shots in the container. The room was already decorated with red balloons, candles, bubbly and a big heart that said “Marry me.” Heiter only slowly became aware of what could happen to him. “What’s going on here?” he asked.

When “Big Brother” told him that he could propose to his girlfriend now and immediately, Heiter seemed a little overwhelmed. “Actually, everything says yes,” he explained – but it was also a “fierce moment.” He also pointed out that he actually had to get “her mom’s permission” first. “Big Brother” dispelled these doubts with the word: “Actually.”. At the same time, he gave Heiter tips on how to handle the situation rhetorically (“”Darling, I love you” always works well.”) Heiter was now convinced that he could go through with the matter. Lahouar, from Frankfurt, could initially hardly believe what was happening. After falling into her lover’s arms, she briefly asked, “So are you really eating now?” to make sure Heiter was serious. But he also dispelled the last doubts.

The couple’s first advances were at the beginning of the year on the show “I’m a Celebrity – Get Me Out of Here!” given by RTL, in which both took part. After the jungle camp in Australia ended, the two officially became a couple. Heiter became known, among other things, for the dating format “Love Island”, Lahouar for “Ex on the Beach” and “The Bachelor”.
They both made it to the final of “Celebrity Big Brother”. Heiter’s ex-partner Elena Miras, with whom he also has a child, also lived in the container in Cologne, but had to leave the show for health reasons.
