I want to take a moment to reflect on the powerful role they play in our lives, not only as women and businesswomen, but as leaders of invaluable example to our daughters, nieces and daughters-in-law. My own generation underwent a drastic change. An accident left me without money and the love I once thought would sustain me. But in the midst of that adversity, I discovered the inner strength that we all carry. The one that allows us to learn that, even if life knocks us down, we always have the ability to get up with more strength, with more love for ourselves and with a renewed purpose.
Being a woman and mother in today’s world implies a constant combination of roles, an ability to navigate between the demands of family life and professional demands. However, what makes each mother unique is the way in which she manages to harmonize these aspects with love and wisdom, offering silent but firm guidance to those who observe her.
