Nicole Scherzinger on Liam Payne: Emotional words to the late singer

Nicole Scherzinger (46) mourns Liam Payne (1993-2024), who became world famous with the boy band One Direction. She knew him from the beginning of his great career and is said to have been in contact with him until his death. Scherzinger said goodbye to the deceased.

“Dear Liam, I will always cherish and remember the time we spent together, from the birth of One Direction fifteen years ago until a few weeks ago,” writes Scherzinger on two pictures she took with Payne and the Show singer Kelly Rowland (43). “We shared the same love and passion for music and I will always remember the meaningful and joyful conversations we had,” Scherzinger continued. It was a blessing for her to be able to work with Payne recently. However, it is difficult to process “that you are no longer here, but I am grateful that I knew your kind heart, your sweet soul and your character.” Payne brought “so much joy, light and laughter” to the lives of everyone who really knew him. She will miss him and “carry him in my heart.”
