Britney Spears (42) shares appreciative words on the one-year anniversary of her “The Woman in Me” biography in a new post. The singer thanks her fans and is happy about the numerous purchases of her memoir, which was published on October 24, 2023.
She writes about the first anniversary of her work: “Wow, wow, wow… Thank you all for your support over the last year! It means the world to me!” Apparently she can’t resist a bit of advertising. “If you don’t have a copy of ‘The Woman In Me’ yet, you can get it here,” the musician points out on the book’s homepage.
A press release at the time from publishing publisher Gallery Books said the book “showcases her incredible journey (and) the strength of one of the greatest artists in the history of popular music.” The autobiography “The Woman in Me” describes the pop princess’s path from child star to icon and reveals private depths. It’s about ups and downs, like her 13-year court-ordered guardianship by her father Jamie Spears (72).
“It’s finally time for me to raise my voice and speak out. My fans deserve to hear it directly from me,” Spears announced in 2022, around a year after her guardianship ended as a result of a court case. “No more conspiracies, no lies – just me, how I feel about my past, present and future.” In the week it was published, the book had already sold more than a million copies in the USA, and according to Spears’ contribution, it has now sold more than three million copies worldwide.

Recently, Spears caused a stir on Instagram. On October 21st, she shared . She wrote: “The day I married myself. I’m bringing it back because it might seem embarrassing or stupid but I think it’s the most brilliant thing I’ve ever done!”
