The minimum remunerations for poultry activity personnel were updated throughout the country and in some specific sectors within particular districts.
The National Commission for Agricultural Work (CNTA) established the new minimum salaries for personnel who work in the poultry industry throughout the national territory (although it excluded those employees of industrial establishments because they are regulated by other agreements) and adjusted other salaries in some branches of the field sector in different provinces.

The measure was made official through 15 resolutions (from the 340 to 355) this Thursday in the Official Gazette in which the validity of the remunerations that will be applied is established, in some cases from October 1, 2024 and, in others, from November 1.
In the case of poultry, the rule is valid until May 31, 2025, with periodic reviews and valid until a new resolution is issued.
The annex to the regulations includes a list of contributions and deductions (social work, union dues, among others) that must be made on salaries. It also clarifies that these sums will be taken into account to calculate additional benefits such as vacations, overtime, and the complementary annual salary (bonus).
Likewise, it establishes that employers must retain 2% monthly of the salaries of non-member personnel to allocate it to the union entity, exempting members. This amount must be deposited in a specific account of UATRE, the union that represents rural workers.
The regulations also include a mechanism to review remuneration in the event of “significant economic variations.”
