Michael Jackson’s children also mourn their uncle
Michael Jackson’s children Paris and Bigi Jackson also paid their last respects to their uncle Tito Jackson in California.
Michael Jackson’s (1958-2009) brother Tito Jackson (1953-2024) died suddenly at the age of just 70 on September 15th of this year. The musician’s funeral took place in California on Monday (November 4th). Michael Jackson’s children Bigi (22) and Paris Jackson (26) were also there to pay their last respects to the deceased.
The Jackson clan pays their last respects to Tito
Bigi, formerly known as Blanket Jackson, is said to be particularly reclusive. Unlike his two siblings Paris and Prince Jackson (27), he did not pursue a career in show business. Also present at Jackson’s funeral were La Toya Jackson (68), Tito’s brother Marlon Jackson (67) and younger relatives Jermajesty (24) and Jaafar Jackson (28). The latter will portray the “King of Pop” in the upcoming biopic “Michael”.
Tito Jackson suddenly suffered a heart attack while driving in September. Before his death, he performed with his brothers Jackie (73) and Marlon Jackson as The Jacksons. In the summer of 2024 they played shows in Scotland, California and England. On September 10th, the group performed at the Circus Krone in Munich – the only stop in Germany during the tour.
Tito Jackson was a founding member of the Jackson 5, which also included Michael, Jackie, Jermaine and Marlon (and later Randy Jackson). The family pop group had hits in the ’70s like “I Want You Back,” “ABC” and “I’ll Be There” and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997.
