After the birth of a child out of wedlock: Dave Grohl’s family has apparently “calmed down”

Dave Grohl’s (55) marriage is currently having to overcome one of the biggest crises possible: In September, the frontman of the band Foo Fighters announced that he had become the father of a little girl “outside” his marriage. An insider now reveals what his relationship with his wife Jordyn Blum (48) is supposedly like two months after this news.

Blum, with whom Grohl has three daughters Violet (18), Harper (15) and Ophelia (10), “had time to process everything,” said the anonymous source. She doesn’t want to “make any hasty decisions because it will all affect her girls.” Blum is still unhappy with the situation and has taken off her wedding ring. “But things have calmed down. She’s leaning on friends,” explains the source.

In his statement at the time, Dave Grohl said he loved his family and was doing “everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness.” He wants to look forward together with his wife and the girls. The couple have been married since 2003.

Another insider confirmed to “People” that the singer was apparently sticking to this plan. “Dave puts his family first,” emphasizes the second source. “He knows he screwed up. It’s one of those situations where you don’t realize what you have until you’re in danger of losing it.” The musician does everything to keep his family together.
