On the beach in the Maldives, GZSZ actor Timur Ülker gets on his knees in front of his girlfriend. The emotional scene the couple shared on Instagram is also delightfully chaotic thanks to the kids.
Actor Timur Ülker, known from the RTL series “Good Times, Bad Times” (GZSZ), proposed to his long-time girlfriend Caroline Steinhof on the beach in the Maldives under wonderfully chaotic conditions. The couple posted a video on Instagram in which the 35-year-old kneels in the sand with a ring in his hand in front of the mother of his two children.
“From the first minute I knew that you were the woman I wanted to grow old with,” said Ülker in the clip to his partner, with whom he has been together for eleven years. “You are the most important thing in my life, you are the anchor in this whole family.” A little later, after Ülker’s decisive question, the couple happily fell into each other’s arms – the application was accepted.
Children give the application a wonderfully chaotic touch
Charming: The video sequence also showed that the couple has two lively children – because it turned out chaotic. During the proposal, their little son Ilay repeatedly called out to his mother to draw her attention to a large “Will you marry me” heart placed nearby. The daughter Ileya, who was several years older and filmed the proposal, repeatedly asked her little brother to be quiet – to no avail. “It was a wonderfully chaotic moment – exactly our style,” said Ülker in an RTL interview about the application.
Steinhof wrote about the video that she had been waiting for this moment for eleven years. According to Ülker, who had originally planned a proposal in 2021 but then had to postpone it due to a lack of a ring, she was not the only one: “Many people longed for this moment almost as much as we did and were simply overjoyed for us.”
