Surprising ranking: Sabrina Carpenter is the star who influenced the most people in the USA to vote.
Sabrina Carpenter (25) has recruited more people for the 2024 US presidential election than any other celebrity. This was announced on November 5th. The pop star is therefore responsible for 35,814 newly registered voters.
In addition to helping voters register, HeadCount said Carpenter also encouraged 263,087 voters to do things like check registration status and find polling places through giveaways, postcards and in-person activities as part of her “Short n’ Sweet” tour.
HeadCount is committed to registering young voters and works with people from the entertainment industry. The “Espresso” interpreter had announced that she would cooperate with the organization in advance of her current world tour.
Green Day is also an important partner
In addition to Sabrina Carpenter, HeadCount highlighted the collaboration with the band Green Day. The musicians around frontman Billie Joe Armstrong (52) were able to acquire 7,900 new voters to register on their “Saviors” tour and reach 61,000 voters. Outside of this tour, they were responsible for 46,892 activities related to voter turnout and were able to bring another 22,525 new voters on board.
In the run-up to the election between Donald Trump (78) and Kamala Harris (60), many celebrities used their public platforms to urge their fans to vote. Taylor Swift, Beyoncé and Jennifer Lopez, among others, spoke out in support of the Democratic candidate Harris. Donald Trump has now declared himself the winner of the election and thus the 47th President of the USA.
