Riccardo Simonetti (31) impressed two international stars with his unusual hairstyle in Berlin on Tuesday evening. The presenter, author and influencer attended the premiere of the new Sky series “The Day of the Jackal” in a blue pinstripe coat from Emporio Armani and opted for extravagant hairstyling. His long hair was pulled back into a tight braid by his stylist. At the end of the actual braid there was a silver ring to which another long braid part was attached.

In his Instagram story, Simonetti posted several shots of his look and wrote, among other things: “Obsessed with this hair.” can be seen meeting Hollywood star Eddie Redmayne (42), who plays the lead role in the series, on the red carpet. The actor is visibly amused by the unusual hairstyle and can’t resist putting a finger through the ring when Simonetti presents his hairstyle to him in conversation.

Actress Lashana Lynch (36), who plays the female lead in “The Day of the Jackal,” also reacts enthusiastically to the long braid in another video. “I think our hairstyle is going down really well,” Simonetti happily addressed his stylist on Instagram. The hairstyle was a step out of his comfort zone for him, said the 31-year-old: “I’m always a little insecure about being photographed ‘without hair’.” The evening was a “good reminder” that it was worth it. According to Simonetti, he wanted to transform himself into a secret agent with “bulletproof hair” with his outfit.

The series “The Day of the Jackal” is a reinterpretation of the 1971 novel of the same name (in German: “The Jackal”) by Frederick Forsyth. Eddie Redmayne plays the mysterious contract killer called “Jackal”, while Lashana Lynch plays a British intelligence officer Bianca gives chase.
