Jamie Lee Curtis calls for fighting
“We know that many women will now have a difficult time getting the reproductive health care they need and deserve,” Curtis said, citing other problems that could arise from Trump and his team’s announcements. “For all of these people, there will be those to help them,” Curtis added. “Including me.” And further: “Fight for women and our children and their future and fight against tyranny every day. One fight at a time. One protest at a time. This is what it means to be an American.”
Jamie Lee Curtis, daughter of Tony Curtis (“Some Like It Hot”) and Janet Leigh (“Psycho”), made her breakthrough at the age of 19 as Laurie Strode in the cult horror film “Halloween”. She later appeared in films such as “A Fish Called Wanda” and “True Lies”.
