Jason Derulo prefers to ask children for criticism rather than adults
US singer Jason Derulo has a three-year-old son. In the interview he explains why the boy played a role in the publication of his songs.
US singer Jason Derulo (“Savage Love”) says he prefers to turn to his three-year-old son for feedback on his music and other questions. “Sometimes you have to let the kids do the work because they don’t know how to lie yet, so they’ll tell the truth,” the 35-year-old explained on The Jennifer Hudson Show.
When he presents his son with an outfit, he sometimes shakes his head in dissatisfaction, explained Derulo. “But if you ask any random person, they’ll say, ‘Oh yeah, that’s cool’.” The boy also listens to all of his songs before releasing them, Derulo said. His son Jason King was born in May 2021.
