AI seeks to monitor fake accounts in order to determine the privacy policies that govern Instagram.
Social networks are the central means of communication in the world, from children and young people to adults and adults. Within them, instagram is one of the ones that stands out the most, mainly because of its own style that consists only of photographs, but also because it always adds new details and features for users to experience.
In that sense, Meta will use Artificial Intelligence to detect if minors lie about their age on the social networksince their policies only allow those over 13 and special settings are applied to the accounts of those under 18.

Instagram will use AI to prevent minors from lying about their age to register
Known as “adult classifier”the Meta tool will seek to detect with AI if a person under 18 years of age lied about their age. If an account is found, the stricter privacy settings that apply to a teenager’s account will automatically be applied. In order to identify this type of cases, the AI takes into consideration the accounts followed and the content you interact with.
