Singer Sasha and his wife publish the second part of a children’s story for their son Otto. As a dad, he considers himself caring – although less overly protective now.
Singer Sasha (52) used to describe himself as a “lawnmower father”. So a father who wants to get all problems out of the way preventatively. But those days are over, he revealed in an interview. “That has subsided a bit, I now have more trust in Otto (his son). And I know: lawnmower fathers are even worse than helicopter mothers,” Sasha told the “Augsburger Allgemeine”.
The singer and his wife Julia Rontgen are authors of the children’s story “Toto and the Man in the Moon”, the second part of which will be published on November 28th. In this they let their son Otto fly to the moon as an astronaut in a dream.
They changed their lives for their son: “In fact, we are a bit old people in the morning and tend to be rock stars in the evening,” said Röntgen in the interview. They start the day with “Woggen”. “It’s a mixture of jogging and walking. My knees hurt when I’m jogging. In the evening I like to drink a glass of wine,” says Röntgen. And Sasha adds: “Anyway, we travel less than before.”
