San Lorenzo Ceramics launched its new production plant in the Buenos Aires town of Blue, after an investment of u$50 million. “This important milestone represents a significant advance in the company’s production process and technological innovation and its commitment to the local industry,” indicated the businessmen of the renowned firm in the ceramic sector.
The new plant incorporated cutting-edge technology in the manufacture of porcelain tiles, which will increase production capacity and innovate in formats, designs and textures. “This new facility generates the development of new knowledge and skills for its more than 200 employees, most of them residents of the region, contributing to the economic development of Azul and its surroundings. On the other hand, it establishes an infrastructure and technology platform that will open new production and export opportunities to important markets,” the company stated.
With cutting-edge technology, ceramics now incorporates porcelain tiles in exact formats (perfect Match) into its catalogue, which will allow designers and architects to create unique and fluid combinations, building product lines ranging from 60×60 centimeters to 80×160 cm.

“Innovation will also be applied in new textures and designs that will provide a wide variety of possibilities to create spaces inspired by different styles ranging from aesthetics that highlight art, urban architecture, minimalist architecture, nature and the nobility of the materials,” they stressed after reopening the plant.
