The “‘Lindenstraße’-Wurz Til Schweiger” is what Schweiger calls himself star-Interview. And the filmmaker’s career actually began with a role in the ARD cult series. It was only the cult comedy “Manta Manta” that made him suddenly famous in 1991. Film hit after film hit followed and even Hollywood came to Schweiger’s door several times. After numerous appearances in front of the camera, Schweiger changed sides more and more and often took on a double or even a quadruple role as producer, author, director and actor. In 2023 he took on the role of Bertie for the second time in “Manta Manta – Second Part”. But the film didn’t just bring positive headlines for the film star. There was talk of harassment on set and alcohol crashes. In the star Schweiger takes a stand on the allegations.
