Great concern for the children

Because Oliver Pocher didn’t bring their sons back on time, Amira Aly “completely panicked”.

She was very scared! In her Podimo podcast “Liebes Leben”, Amira Aly (32) spoke to her brother Hima about an incident that apparently pushed her to her limits. After her ex-husband Oliver Pocher (46) failed to deliver their sons to her home as agreed, she became “hysterical”.

The reason for her “emotional outburst,” as her brother calls it, was the preparation for the special day of their eldest son, who turned five on November 11th. She had to prepare a lot – – and Pocher looked after the boys for a few hours.

At around 6:00 p.m. the comedian wanted to bring the children back, but Pocher didn’t come. He was suddenly no longer available, says Aly, “which is very untypical for Oli.” Her brother also confirmed this, because “Oli is always available”. Both cell phones appeared to have been turned off. She didn’t hear from the comedian for an hour and a half. In a panic, Aly, who is now in a relationship with presenter Christian Düren (34), then called her brother. “It was already bedtime for the children. That can’t be right. I got nervous. I totally panicked. I also cried at some point,” she remembers the terrible hours of uncertainty.

Amira Aly was in “helicopter mode”

“You screamed into the cell phone. You lost your temper,” her brother corrects her. He then also tried to contact his former brother-in-law, but remained calm. Unlike his sister. “Yes, as a caring mother, you put everything together. But then it is also difficult to communicate with you. You were in your helicopter mode,” says Hima Aly. Shortly afterwards, Pocher’s mobile devices had reception again. On the way to Aly’s with his sons, he stopped at a burger chain to eat.

So an overreaction? “If you don’t know where your children are… My children aren’t with me… His cell phone was off. I had all sorts of ideas. I was terrified. I felt so powerless,” she remembers Austrian and admits: “My biggest fear is losing my children.”

Finally, the 32-year-old even ponders out loud about the future use of GPS trackers for her children.
