John Krasinski: Actor is the new “Sexiest Man Alive”

John Krasinski (45) has been named “Sexiest Man Alive” of 2024. The star of “The Office” and “A Quiet Place” apparently was surprised by his choice: he first had a blackout, he said, according to “People”. The actor couldn’t think of anything except “that I might be being taken for a ride.”

His wife, Hollywood star Emily Blunt (41), was thrilled to hear her husband’s new title. “There was a lot of joy when I told her,” said John Krasinski. He has been married to Blunt since 2010. The couple have two daughters: ten-year-old Hazel and seven-year-old Violet.

John Krasinski started his career in 2002. He played the role of Jim Halpert in the sitcom “The Office” from 2005 to 2013, which was his breakthrough as an actor. The 45-year-old was then seen in the title role of the series “Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan” from 2018 to 2023. He also directed, co-wrote and was one of the main actors in the horror film “A Quiet Place” (2018), with which he enjoyed great success. He later wrote and directed the sequel “A Quiet Place 2” (2020).

With the “Sexiest Man Alive” title, John Krasinski joins an illustrious group of Hollywood stars who have also been honored in this way by “People” magazine. The magazine has been honoring celebrities since 1985, and in the past ten years the awards have included Chris Hemsworth (41), David Beckham (49), Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson (52), Blake Shelton (48), Idris Elba (52) , John Legend (45), Michael B.
