How to get to San Rafael, Mendoza

From different parts of the country and from Chile there are routes to access the department:

  • From Buenos Aires: One option is to take the Western Access and connect with RN 7 in Luján, passing through General Villegas until you reach San Rafael; Another alternative is to connect with RN 7 and continue along RN 33, passing through Rojas and Venado Tuerto.

  • From Chile: The Pehuenche International Pass allows direct access, passing through Malargüe and El Sosneado.

  • From Mendoza Capital: You can take RN 40 and join RN 143 in Pareditas to reach the destination.

  • From Neuquén and San Luis: Both provinces offer convenient routes, such as RN 40 and RN 146, respectively, passing through Monte Comán.
