King Charles III turns 76: a year full of challenges

Many royal fans are likely to still have the images of the pompous accession to the throne in their minds: in May 2023, Charles III was born. crowned as the new British king in London’s Westminster Abbey. After less than a year in office, news of Charles’ cancer shocked the world earlier this year. A few weeks after Charles, his daughter-in-law, Princess Kate, also announced that she had been diagnosed with cancer. The British monarchy seemed paralyzed.
“It was probably the hardest year of my life. But I’m so proud of my wife, I’m proud of my father for handling things. But from a personal family standpoint, yes, it was brutal,” Prinz said William recently on the sidelines of an appointment. Meanwhile, it seems that both King Charles III. and Princess Kate are doing better, both are attending public appointments again.
Charles, who is considered restless and hard-working, wants to make a public appearance on his 76th birthday: He plans to visit one of his “Coronation Food Project” facilities in London, the palace announced. Surplus food will be collected there, stored and processed into meals that will be distributed to aid organizations and soup kitchens.
