Horror author leaves Elon Musk’s Platform X

The mood has become “too toxic,” explains best-selling author Stephen King about his withdrawal from the social media platform X.
Like numerous other celebrities, horror author Stephen King (77) has now turned his back on the platform X (formerly Twitter). Accordingly, his withdrawal comes just a few days after rumors emerged that X boss Elon Musk (53) had banned the author from the platform.
“The atmosphere has simply become too toxic”

Previously, various media outlets, such as “The Independent”, reported that the best-selling author had been banned from the platform after he referred to Musk as “Trump’s First Lady”. King said: “I see there’s a rumor going around that I called the Musk man Trump’s new first lady. I didn’t, but only because I didn’t think of it. There’s also a rumor going around that Muskie would have kicked me off Twitter. And yet here I am.”

In addition to the “Shining” and “ES” author, numerous other celebrities have already turned their backs on the social media platform, including “Charmed” actress Alyssa Milano (51). She announced her exit on Thursday, November 14th: “Goodbye X, hello Blue Sky,” the actress wrote on a screenshot of her deactivated which was founded by ex-Twitter boss Jack Dorsey (47).
Actress and author Jamie Lee Curtis (65) and CNN presenter Don Lemon (58) also announced their withdrawal from the social media platform.
