Florian David Fitz: Having children as a “big adventure”
Fitz, who will celebrate his 50th birthday in a few days, became the father of twins at the age of 45, although he keeps them out of the public eye. “I had children very late, it’s a relatively big adventure and that’s fine for now,” he remarks to RTL about his late fatherhood.
In his opinion, having children “didn’t take any courage, but now I have to step back for a moment. There have been moments… where I shit myself, if you can put it that way,” says Fitz.
However, this anxious feeling did not last. “The nice thing is that it’s over the second it becomes reality,” he continues. “Then ‘shitty’ takes on a different meaning,” he reports with a laugh.
