Jonathan Majors is writing positive headlines again: The former Marvel star has gotten engaged to his girlfriend Meagan Good.
Bad luck in acting, good luck in love: “Loki” and “Ant-Man” star Jonathan Majors (35) has reason to be happy again, at least privately, after his expulsion from Marvel. Partner Meagan Good (43) answered his question of all questions with a “yes,” as the couple proudly announced. As proof of the engagement, the actress held up a sizable diamond ring to the cameras on the red carpet at the Ebony Power 100 Gala in Los Angeles on Sunday night (November 17), only outshined by Majors’ big smile.
The two spoke on site. They are incredibly “in love” and Good is certain that Majors is “the one” for her. The actor took around a year and a half to take his knee. The first reports that Majors and Good were a couple emerged in May of last year – at a very difficult time in the then Marvel star’s life.
Violence scandal cost him his Marvel career
At around the same time, Majors’ ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari (31) made serious allegations. In her statement of claim against Majors, Jabbari described shocking incidents of domestic violence, whose career was going through the roof at the time. He was found guilty by a court at the end of 2023 and sentenced to therapy for a period of 52 weeks in April of this year. He managed to avoid a prison sentence, but Marvel Studios immediately parted ways with him when he was found guilty.
A gigantic career break for Majors: Actually, his character Kang in the series “Loki” and the film “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” had just been developed as the big new main antagonist in the two upcoming “Avengers” films. In the summer of this year it was revealed that the MCU villain Doctor Doom would now take on this role, portrayed by the former “Iron Man” star Robert Downey Jr. (59).
