Apple TV+ gave the green light for a series adaptation of scary capewith Javier Bardem chosen for one of the main roles.
According to the official synopsis, “A storm is brewing for happily married lawyers Amanda and Steve Bowden when Max Cady (Bardem), a notorious killer from their past, is released from prison.”
The series was first reported to be in development in 2023, although no platform or cast was specified at the time. Apple ordered 10 episodes.
