He Killed a Motorized Police Officerthe iconic rock band from La Plata, culminates a 2024 full of successes by celebrating its 20 years of experience with three unmissable concerts every day December 19, 20 and now December 22 at the C Art Media complex.

With a career spanning more than two decades, El Mató has toured the world, playing in more than 25 countries and filling emblematic venues in Latin America, Europe and the United States. For this anniversary, the band returns to its roots by revisiting its first studio album, “He Killed a Motorized Policeman (LP 2004)”a work that marked the beginning of a new era in alternative rock and that inspired generations of musicians.

This year, El Mató a un Police Motorizado reached a new milestone with a sold out at the Movistar Arena, where 15 thousand fans enjoyed one of the most impressive performances of their tour with “Super Terror”their latest album.

In addition, the band opened the Interpol tour in the United States, playing in cities such as Houston, Los Angeles and Las Vegas, and continued its European tour with performances in the Spring Sound. Also, it was the only Latin American group invited to participate in the tribute album to Talking Headsalong with renowned artists such as Miley Cyrus, Paramore and Lorde.

Recorded at the legendary Sonic Ranch studios in Texas, “Super Terror” was awarded the Gardel Award for Best Rock Album, establishing itself as one of the most outstanding works of the year. It is a sound journey full of poetry and melancholy, a reflection of post-pandemic times, immersed in the powerful lyrics and melodies of Santiago Motorizado.
