A few months ago, much of Cara Delevingne’s villa in Los Angeles burned down. Now the 32-year-old sold her dilapidated property.
Cara Delevingne (32) has to cope with a loss worth millions. Just five years ago, the British model bought a luxury property in Los Angeles for the equivalent of 6.6 million euros. According to several media reports, the villa was largely burned in a large fire last March. Now Delevingne drew her conclusions: Like, she separated from the dilapidated building. Accordingly, Delevingne still received 4.6 million dollars, i.e. 4.35 million euros, for her burned down house.
She was “devastated”
According to various media reports, 94 firefighters with 13 fire engines were on site to bring the fire under control. A firefighter is said to have been injured after falling from a ladder. In addition, a resident reportedly had to be treated for smoke inhalation. Delevingne himself was in London at the time.
The cause of the fire was never determined and foul play was ruled out. However, Delevingne’s parents Charles (75) and Pandora (65) explained shortly afterwards that they knew the cause of the fire: The 32-year-old’s father believed that a defective power line could have been the reason.
“She’s devastated. She had everything in her house, her whole life. […] She had everything in it,” Delevingne’s mother also emphasized in the conversation. And Delevingne herself also made it clear that she was “dismayed” by the fire: “Of course it affected me, it’s super sad.” Nevertheless, she wanted to concentrate on to look forward.
