Anna Ermakova also commented on the death of her grandmother Elvira. At the same time, she expressed her deep condolences to her father Boris Becker.
Last Thursday (November 21st), Boris Becker’s (57) lawyer Christian-Oliver Moser confirmed to the newspaper that the tennis legend’s mother had died at the age of 89. Becker’s daughter Anna Ermakova (24) also revealed that she got in touch with her father about this. She could “confirm reports that she had contacted him. I expressed my condolences to him. I can’t imagine what it must be like to lose a mother.” She wanted to give him “strength and clarity […] send,” said the model.
She also found loving words about her late grandmother: “She was a strong woman who always showed me kindness when I met her – her presence will be missed. May her soul rest in peace.” At the same time, Ermakova stated that she “unfortunately didn’t know her grandma very well.” Nevertheless, their death hit her “harder than I expected”.
Great sadness on your birthday
One day after his loss – and on his 57th birthday – Becker published an emotional post on his Instagram account. There he shared several pictures showing him with his mother over the years. “My dear mother has left us… I owe you everything I have achieved in life,” wrote the former Wimbledon winner. He currently feels “a lot of pain,” but his mother “made him a strong man” when he was born exactly 57 years ago. He further added: “It was the first snowfall in Leimen, and it’s snowing again today.”
Both Becker’s son Noah (30) and Elias (25) remembered their grandmother on social media last Friday and congratulated their father on his birthday. Noah did this with an old photo of his dad on the tennis court. And Elias posted in which he is surrounded as a baby by his dad, his big brother and his grandma Elvira.
