“División Palermo”, the Netflix series created by Santiago Korovsky, won the International Emmy for best comedy

On Monday, November 25, the 52nd edition of the International Emmy Awards in New York City and the series Palermo Divisionwas recognized with the award for Best Comedy in international competition.

The award was received by Santiago Korovskywriter, director and protagonist of the series, accompanied by Diego Núñez Irigoyen (director), Leticia Cristi (producer) and Nicolas Goldar Parodi(executive producer).

Upon receiving the award on stage, Santiago Korovsky commented: “I want to thank my fellow actors, KyS, Netflix, the production team that made all this possible, and my friends and family. I learned a lot from them. I think that in these strange times in our country and in the world, laughing together is necessary. Hold on to Argentine culture! Thank you.”

The first season of División Palermo became a phenomenon in the country and entered the Top 10 series in Argentina for 5 weeks, and it has also already announced that it will premiere its season 2 in 2025.

What the second season of Palermo Division is about

The urban guard expands to different neighborhoods of the city while the Palermo Division faces new challenges and unwittingly immerses itself in a strange criminal world.

The series is directed by Santiago Korovsky and Rafael López Saubidet, and is produced by Hugo Sigman, Matías Mosteirín and Leticia Cristi.
