Lana Del Rey has some plans for 2025. The singer-songwriter will release her tenth studio album The Right Person Will Stay on May 21 for Interscope/Polydor Records.

“I am so grateful that my 13 songs have joined my beautiful work with Luke, Jack and Drew Erickson, among others,” the 11-time Grammy nominee wrote on Instagram. “I’m glad you heard some songs that came before Stagecoach. Starting with Henry. I will always love you.”

Is Lana Del Rey preparing a country album?
The “Henry” he mentions on Instagram is likely a reference to a song he teased in January called “Henry, Come On.” A year ago, he released a cover of the enduring hit John Denver “Take Me Home, Country Roads”.
A Del Rey LP focused on country music would also add to a project she announced earlier this year. During an awards show in late January, the New York native told the crowd she was working on an album to be called lasso and which, according to what he said at the time, would go on sale last September. But it did not materialize.
Del Rey headlined the first night of both weekends of Coachella this year, and is scheduled for an inaugural performance at the fsummer Stagecoachfocused on country music, in April. That’s her only scheduled U.S. date for now, but the singer also revealed a brief five-date summer stadium tour in the U.K. and Ireland.
