Hailee Steinfeld: Actress announces engagement

Actress and singer Hailee Steinfeld (27) is engaged. Her partner, football star Josh Allen (28), asked her all the questions in a romantic setting.

The couple revealed the news in a joint Instagram post on Black Friday (November 30). The comment on a photo of the application simply said: ️”11/22/24″. With this, the two probably revealed the day of the proposal a week ago. As simple as the posting is, the Buffalo Bills quarterback obviously had a blast when it came to the big question. The photo shows the couple kissing under a lush floral arch, surrounded by numerous candles. In front of a sunset over the sea, Allen knelt before his partner.

Steinfeld wore a summery outfit of a floral sheath dress and black heeled boots, while Allen chose a black long-sleeved shirt, khakis and white shoes. A source close to the couple told People that both families were delighted by the engagement news. “They were head over heels in love from the start. Their families are thrilled.”

Some prominent colleagues also spoke up immediately. “Congratulations, brother!!!,” commented actor Chad Michael Murray (43), while tennis star Serena Williams (43) wrote: “Oh my God, I love you.” Model Sara Sampaio (33) commented: “Congratulations.”

The actress and the NFL star were first linked in May 2023 when they were spotted on a sushi date in New York City. Shortly before, rumors had come that the footballer had separated from his girlfriend Brittany Williams. In October 2023, the couple made their first public appearance together at an NHL game at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo. At the game, Steinfeld and Allen were photographed together in the stands.
