The trucker Hector Romero (71), investigated for the disappearance of María Cash, he was sentenced to house arrest due to his serious state of health, according to the Salta Justice.

Finally, it was ruled Romero as guilty due to his various stories on several occasions. At first, he stated that he left María Cash in Palomitas, then near Difunta Correa and finally insisted that it was in the latter place.
