Demi Moore gives a health update on Bruce Willis. He is “in a very stable condition,” said the actress.
Hollywood star Bruce Willis (69), who was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD), is currently “in a very stable condition,” as his ex-wife Demi Moore (62) announced. The actress gave this update during a (66).
“So much love and joy”
Moore, who was married to Willis from 1987 to 2000, offered insightful insight into dealing with the condition. “It’s so important for everyone dealing with this to meet them where they are and from that point there is so much love and joy,” she explained.
The “Die Hard” star’s health situation became public in spring 2022 when his family announced his aphasia diagnosis. A year later, his now wife, Emma Heming-Willis, 46, revealed that his condition had progressed to frontotemporal dementia – a condition that affects the frontal and temporal lobes of the brain, affecting personality, behavior and speech.
Family is at his side
While Moore doesn’t hide the challenges, she also emphasizes the positive moments in the difficult situation: “It’s obviously very difficult, and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone, and it’s a great loss, but there’s also great beauty and gifts that come from it can arise.”
