At the age of 58: Actress Lilly Forgách dies
Many people knew Lilly Forgách from television. The native of Regensburg has appeared in crime novels and films. She also performed in theater in Munich. Now she has died after a short illness.
The theater and television actress Lilly Forgách died in Munich after a short, serious illness. After a stroke, she was in a coma for twelve weeks and fell asleep peacefully on Sunday, her family said on Facebook.
The 58-year-old is known from films and series such as “Heaven, Lord, Sacrament”, “Servus Your Honor” and “Watzmann Investigates”. The native of Regensburg was part of the ensemble at the Metropoltheater in Munich and played in the literary adaptation “The Eighth Life” based on a novel by Nino Haratischwili.
The busy actress with a large circle of friends and acquaintances was torn from the middle of her life, her agent Beate Mittermayer told the German Press Agency. Forgách hasn’t seen her latest film yet. “Sievers and the Ghost House” from the crime series “Nord Nord Mord” is scheduled to run on ZDF on December 23rd at 8:15 p.m.
