The world is characterized by wars and crises. Will this all end well? Satirist Jan Böhmermann has a very relaxed attitude to this.
Jan Böhmermann is unsure whether the world really used to be that much better than it is today. “Was the world in a better condition before? Or did we just not see what condition it is in?” said the moderator in an interview with the German Press Agency. He wasn’t so sure about that.
When asked whether he believes in a happy ending given the crises in the world, Böhmermann said that there is “always an end.” “Luckily it’s organized in a fairly egalitarian way. At some point the headlights go out,” said the 43-year-old. “Whether this ending will be happy or not is something you should try to decide for yourself.”
Böhmermann presents the satirical show “ZDF Magazin Royale” every week on ZDF. His latest project, however, is “Hello Spencer – The Film” – a production that deals with the dolls and the inventor of the children’s series “Hello Spencer”.
There is a fairy godmother named Galaktika “from the distant star Andromeda”. She helps the inhabitants of the doll universe when their world falls apart.
