Mariah Carey: The “Queen of Christmas” is sick

The “Queen of Christmas” is sick: Mariah Carey (55) had to cancel her concert in Pittsburgh – just a few hours before she was supposed to go on stage on Wednesday evening (December 11th). : “Pittsburgh, I’m sorry to announce that I have come down with the flu. It breaks my heart that I unfortunately have to cancel tonight’s show. I love you all so much.”

There is apparently no new date for the show; the Ticketmaster sales platform announced that there would be a full refund of the ticket prices. The concert was scheduled to be part of Mariah Carey’s Christmas tour this year, “Mariah Carey’s Christmas Time,” which kicked off on November 6th in Highland, California and is scheduled to end on December 17th in New York City. The next show is scheduled for December 13th in Newark, New Jersey.

Her fans forgive her: “So sad, but I hope you’re doing well,” writes an X user and posts the outfit he had planned for the evening. “Get well soon! Your health is the most important thing, so please get well,” writes another user.

Just earlier this week, Mariah Carey announced that her Christmas hit “All I Want For Christmas Is You” was back at number one on the US Billboard charts, 30 years after its release.

She shared a video on Instagram in which her twins Moroccan and Monroe (13) surprise her on stage. “I couldn’t have dreamed of a better time or place to celebrate the news than on stage with my amazing fans, my kids and my ‘Christmas Time’ tour family. I love you and am so grateful to you all.” , she wrote.
