The fans of the band, which had last played together in 2009 at the Monumental Stadium in Riverreceived the best news this year: Los Piojos would get back together to play again. The lousy ritual will take place at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium in La Plata on December 14, 15, 18, 21, 22 and January 25 and 26 of next year.

The band gained its success from hits, with catchy melodies and guitar and drum arrangements that awakened the curiosity of the Argentine ear. One of those topics is “Grey”part of the disk “Third Arc”published in 1996. However, it has a curious story behind it, since what the lyrics of the song say is not as true as it seems.
A vision problem and Ciro Martínez’s mistake
“Before recording the first album I thought that if it is true that the devil appears to artists, that was the moment. And this redhead appeared dressed in red in a theater where all the girls worked dressed in black,” Ciro explained in an interview with Rock Salta, talking about her inspiring muse.

And from it this chorus was born: “Gray, the sky of your eyes // Gray, two remains of the sky // Light that lights up my sleeplessness // In the nights without consolation // Your mouth behind a veil, on this night”. But there was a problem, and that is that all this beautiful song was born from a mistake of the singer of the Palomar band.
The girl’s eyes, which Ciro saw as gray, were actually a different color.. “’I wrote several songs for you, I don’t know if you heard them,’ I told her, to which she told me no, then I detailed ‘Yes, one called ‘Gris’ and says ‘the sky of your eyes,’ but She there told me surprised ‘But my eyes are green!‘”, Ciro confessed between laughs.
Finally, he decided to compose the final song to dedicate to her, which resulted in “Insisto”, a 2011 single that ended up being part of the album “Espejo”.
