“We’ve announced Rebecca Ferguson, we’ve announced Barry Keoghan, we’ve got more announcements coming,” he said. Knight in the Royal Television Society convention in London today (September 17). “It’s set in World War II and it’s really good.” Recently, Keoghan spoke about his role in the upcoming film and said he was “excited and nervous” to join the franchise.

Tom Harper (Heart of Stone, The Aeronauts, War & Peace) will direct the film, who already helmed the second half of season 1.
Production will begin later this year from a script by the series’ creator, Steven Knight. The producers are Caryn Mandabach, Knight, Murphy and Guy Heeley. Executive producers include Harper, David Kosse, Jamie Glazebrook, Andrew Warren and David Mason. The feature film will be made in association with BBC Film.
