Jeff Bezos has denied reports that he would marry his fiancée in the mountains of Colorado later this year.

The Amazon founder responded to the news, originally spread by the British newspaper Daily Mail, with a social media posting on X (formerly Twitter). It had been said that there were secret plans for a $600 million wedding in Aspen on December 28th. Bezos now emphasized: “Besides, the whole thing is completely wrong – none of it will happen.” He then shared his opinion on the subject of fake news: “The old adage ‘Don’t believe everything you read’ is more true today than ever. Today, lies can travel the ENTIRE world before the truth can get its pants on. So be Be careful out there, people, and don’t be gullible.”
Engagement on superyacht
Bezos and Sánchez have officially been a couple since 2020. They got engaged on his superyacht in May 2023. The former TV journalist recently revealed on the “Today Show” that she had already bought her wedding dress, but there were no public plans for the celebration yet.
It would be the second marriage for both of them. Jeff Bezos, the second richest man in the world, married MacKenzie Scott (54) in 1993. The two have four children together. In January 2019 they announced that they wanted to divorce. Lauren Sánchez was married to Hollywood agent Patrick Whitesell from 2005 to 2019, with whom she had two children. She has another son from a previous relationship.
