Did daughter have no idea before Oasis reunion?

In 2025 Oasis will go on a big comeback tour. Noel Gallagher’s daughter was apparently as surprised as anyone by the news.

The brothers Liam (52) and Noel Gallagher (57) were at odds for a long time and broke up their cult band in 2009. On August 27th they surprisingly announced their “OASIS LIVE ’25” reunion tour. However, Noel Gallgher’s daughter Anaïs had “no idea” about the Oasis reunion.

The model, 24, “wrote people to find out if it was true.” Blossoms singer Tom Ogden (31) revealed this during a conversation “The A to X of 2024 with Blossoms”. Like everyone else in the world, she only found out about it on August 27th.

“You know what? Noel’s daughter Anaïs lived with me and Katie [seine Frau, Anm. der Red.]”When these new stories came out,” said the frontman of the British rock band. “She actually had no idea.” The rest is history. “Oasis were back. It was sold out everywhere. Ticket chaos.”

He admitted that he hopes to get a ticket for himself and his bandmates for the upcoming legendary world tour: “We will definitely talk to Anaïs about it.”

“My mother never cared about it”

The Gallagher brothers have been at odds since the band split in 2009. Noel Gallagher said at the time: “I just couldn’t work with Liam another day.” They also announced their reconciliation in August with the announcement that Oasis would reunite for a series of stadium dates in 2025.

When asked about the reaction of his mother Peggy, 81, Gallagher told reporters: “When we told her we were getting back together, she said, ‘Sure, that will be nice’. My mother didn’t care about it. My mother never cared about it, never.” Was that why he was so secretive towards other family members like his daughter?

Speaking to the Sun, Noel also explained that the tour “won’t be as loud as it used to be” because they are now on the “wrong side of 50” and the concert series would be more of a “lap of honor” for the band .

Additionally, Oasis co-founder Paul Arthurs, better known as Bonehead, will be joining the brothers as part of the lineup for their highly anticipated reunion tour.

The tour starts on July 4th in Cardiff. A concert in Germany is not yet planned.
