Liam Payne’s partner: Holidays are also a time of sorrow
The British musician died in mid-October after falling from his hotel room. Now his girlfriend is turning to the public with a message.
Late singer Liam Payne’s partner shared a Christmas message about heartbreak over the festive period. Christmas is a time of happiness and joy, but for many people it is also a time of sadness.
“Be gentle with those around you this time of year because the holidays can feel different for everyone,” Kate Cassidy wrote on her Instagram Story. “I send all my love to those who are grieving this holiday season. I hope this time brings you comfort and peace.”
The 25-year-old did not mention her boyfriend Payne. The former singer of the boy band One Direction died in mid-October at the age of 31 after falling from his hotel room in the Argentine capital Buenos Aires.
Cassidy attended Payne’s funeral in England in November. In a statement after her friend’s death, she emphasized that her heart was “shattered.” The British musician is the love of her life and now her guardian angel.
