“Breaking Bad” star Betsy Brandt: Divorce after more than 25 years of marriage

Betsy Brandt (51) is said to have filed for divorce from husband Grady Olsen. . The US actress is said to have cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the divorce. According to “TMZ,” the couple married in September 1998 and apparently separated in August 2023.

In the divorce papers, Brandt is also said to have requested custody of one of the two children, who is still a minor at 16. The couple still has to divide their possessions. It is not known whether the two had signed a marriage contract. Brandt has yet to comment on reports of her alleged divorce.

Betsy Brandt was best known as a series actress. From 2008 to 2013 she portrayed Marie Schrader in the successful format “Breaking Bad”. She played alongside Dean Norris (61), who played husband Hank Schrader and was also the brother-in-law of the criminal protagonist Walter White (Bryan Cranston, 68).

She has taken on other series roles to date in “Parenthood”, “Masters of Sex”, “Life in Pieces” and “Saint X”. She was also seen in the “Breaking Bad” spin-off “Better Call Saul.”
