Less cell phone, more happiness – what celebrities are planning

Celebrities are only human – with little mistakes and good intentions. A few examples, from bestselling author Fitzek to pop whiz kid Loi.
Celebrities also know the great desire to do better in the new year. Best-selling author Sebastian Fitzek (53), for example: “My good resolution is always: more time with the family. Less time on the cell phone. More time for books,” he told the German Press Agency.
“I probably won’t be able to do it so well again,” admits Fitzek, although: Despite the very intense year, the family has actually been able to manage everything well recently. Just a few weeks ago Fitzek published his new winter thriller “The Calendar Girl”. In it, a young woman is haunted by a psychopath in a secluded little house in Bavaria.
Vacation without a return ticket
Pop star Wincent Weiss (31, “Under my skin”) says: “I’m also someone who makes a lot of plans for the new year and keeps relatively few of them.” He wanted to work a little less this year – “and I did exactly the opposite. I’m planning on doing it again next year.”
After all: “I’m going on vacation on January 2nd and I’ve only booked one ticket, only one city,” says Weiss. “There is no return flight, there are no plans.” Now he’s excited to see “how long I can last on vacation.”
“Getting to know myself better”
The Mannheim pop newcomer Loi – often compared to Adele – also has big plans: “This might sound a bit stupid, but I think: to be happy,” says the 22-year-old. And: “To get to know myself even better” – there is “definitely still room for improvement.”
