Loving words for her husband’s birthday
Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have been providing insights into their private lives for years – including on the singer’s 46th birthday.
John Legend (46) celebrated his birthday on December 28th. On the occasion of his special day, his wife Chrissy Teigen (39) shared touching words. “To our everything, the soul of our house (I am the heart): We love you so much. Happy 46th birthday. […] I love you so much, we love you so much. […]”wrote the model alongside a picture of his husband.
At the same time, Teigen revealed how the singer celebrated his birthday. Accordingly, Legend spent it with their children at the London Bubble Experience, an exhibition in the English capital. “And now we’re on our way to The Devil Wears Prada musical because you’re up for any kind of date night you can get, always,” said Teigen.
They have been considered a power couple for years
John Legend and Chrissy Teigen met on the set of his music video “Stereo” in 2007. They finally said yes on September 14, 2013. Three years later, their first child together, daughter Luna (8), was born, followed in 2018 by son Miles (6). At the beginning of 2023, daughter Esti (1) made Legend and Teigen parents again. Only around five months later, a surrogate mother gave birth to their son Wren (1) after artificial insemination.
In 2020, Legend and Teigen lost their son Jack due to pregnancy complications. At the time they called it a miscarriage. Two years later, the 39-year-old revealed in a speech at the “A Day of Unreasonable Conversation” summit that it had actually been an abortion. “Let’s just call it what it is: It was an abortion. An abortion to save my life, for a baby that had absolutely no chance,” said Teigen.
