Keanu Reeves: His valuable Rolex turned up in Chile

The Chilean police were able to report a spectacular search success: During a raid in Santiago, three luxury watches belonging to Hollywood star Keanu Reeves (60) were seized. Among them is a particularly valuable Rolex Submariner worth around $9,000.

The Rolex has a very special value for the “John Wick” star because it has a personal engraving. Reeves once had the watch engraved with the words “2021, JW4, Thank You, The John Wick Five” as a gift for his stunt people. The 60-year-old is known for generously thanking his employees after filming.

The watches were stolen in December 2023 during a break-in at Reeves’ home in Los Angeles. In addition to the watches, the perpetrators also stole a firearm. The stolen goods have now reappeared in Chile of all places – ironically, the “John Wick” film series also begins with a break-in at the home of the main character.

Chilean authorities announced that the investigation was carried out in close coordination with US authorities. A 21-year-old suspect was arrested in the raid on four houses in the east of Santiago. In addition to the watches, investigators also seized other jewelry.

This wasn’t the first break-in for Reeves: In 2014, his house was the target of burglars twice within three days. The actor himself has not yet commented on the current discovery of his valuables.
