Angelina Jolie: Daughter Zahara shines at her side

Daughter Zahara (19) accompanied her actor mother Angelina Jolie (49) to the awards gala at the Palm Springs International Film Festival. The two appeared hand in hand and visibly in a good mood on the red carpet on Friday (January 3) before Jolie accepted her award. The two chose completely opposite looks for the event. The actress wore a black halter dress made of shiny fabric and let her blonde hair fall loosely over her shoulders. She also applied glamorous make-up with dark eye shadow and light lipstick.

Her adopted daughter, who she has with ex-husband Brad Pitt (61), appeared at her side in a white dress with a long lace skirt. She tied back her black curls and highlighted her eyes with black mascara.

Jolie received the Desert Palm Achievement Award for Best Actress at the awards ceremony for her role in the film “Maria,” in which she portrays the famous opera singer Maria Callas. In her acceptance speech she talked about her children. “There was Maria and there was Callas; Callas was loved, but Maria was often alone. But today I am here, because when I leave this stage I am more myself, because of you, Zahara, and your brothers and sisters. Me love you,” she addressed her offspring.

In addition to Zahara, Jolie shares five other children with Pitt. Before their relationship, she not only adopted her eldest daughter, but also her son Maddox (23). Together they had daughter Shiloh (18) and adopted son Pax (21). Her twins Knox and Vivienne (16) completed her family.

However, Jolie and Pitt went their separate ways when Jolie filed for divorce on September 19, 2016. They are said to have only reached an agreement at the end of December after a long argument. As reported, citing Jolie’s lawyers, the former Hollywood dream couple would have signed divorce papers on December 30, 2024.

A few days later, Jolie published a cover story in which she said that what bothers her the most is when someone is a liar. By that she means someone “who feels the need not to tell the truth or what they want, what they feel,” she explained, without naming a specific person. “There are a lot of them – and I don’t want to put it on too much – but people who say one thing and mean another, who are not quite who they are,” said Jolie.
