Activities on a picnic are covid-free, since everything is outdoors to begin with. Because they are large places, the tables are more than two meters apart and there is no need for contact with anyone.

Rodizio Campo Luján is a property located 70 km from Buenos Aires, with an area of 90 hectares, of which 10 are open to the public and the rest works as a pasture for animals or agricultural production.
The ranch is a 19th century building that preserves its original style, surrounded by a large park and grove, where lunch is served. This place is a classic to experience the gaucho tradition and its typical gastronomy, from the asado served in swords, empanadas to mate with cupcakes.
Its activities include activities in the organic garden, tractor and horseback rides, archery, mountain biking, horseback riding, aerial forest with zip lines, Tibetan bridges and a trekking circuit. They also have a farm where the boys feed the animals and even herd the sheep.

El Ombú is a historic ranch in San Antonio de Areco, 120 kilometers from Buenos Aires, which stands out for its magnificent old town from 1880, belonging to the Boelcke family since 1934.
The field has 300 hectares mostly dedicated to livestock and agriculture. Depending on the time of year, you can see the fields planted with soybeans, corn, wheat, oats and pastures. The farm has been receiving tourists from all over the world for 30 years who have been visiting them to enjoy a day in the country or to stay in one of their suites.
The field day starts around 10:30 am and lasts until sunset. All activities are outdoors and include horseback riding, carriages, bike rides, visiting farm animals, visiting the organic garden or practicing a sport on its soccer and volleyball courts.

Located 60 kilometers from Buenos Aires, Wyndham Garden Luján is an area of 11 green hectares and an infrastructure with active tennis, soccer, volleyball and polo courts located in front of the hotel garden, where lunch is served during these pandemic times. Being a hotel, in addition to the field day, they have rooms to stay.
The field day at this resort runs from 10 in the morning until sunset and in addition to lunch (a very complete barbecue) and the afternoon snack, they include outdoor activities with games for children, ping pong tables and sports. Polo matches are usually organized on weekends so that the public can watch them. Although horseback riding is not included, it can be hired separately.

45 minutes from Buenos Aires is Estancia Villa María, a Tudor-Norman style rural palace built in 1927 by the architect Alejandro Bustillo. Today it operates as a boutique hotel with 11 rooms, surrounded by a 56-hectare park with a lake and a spectacular garden full of diverse plants.
There are more than 350 species of trees and plants in the ranch, and at each time of year a different color stands out.
The field day proposal runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and includes lunch, snacks and different activities such as horseback riding, carriage rides and access to sports activities, including tennis courts and 18-hole golf.
At the moment the bicycles remain suspended by protocol, and the swimming pool is only available for hotel guests. They also offer horse riding, tennis and golf lessons which can be taken extra.
Another option is a self-guided botanical walk through the park with a map provided to learn about the main species.

Estancia Pampas del Sur, Cañuelas

Located in the town of Cañuelas, Estancia Pampas del Sur is a 30-hectare estate that includes a club house with two large rooms, one of them enabled for lunch; a bar, swimming pool, rooms, armchairs and deckchairs to rest. For the night they have 16 rooms.
The field day in this estancia lasts between 11 am and 7 pm, including lunch, snack and all the activities, among them, visiting a mini farm, an organic garden, a bio lake with fish and a wooden bridge and a windmill.
It also has different paths for walking, children’s games, foosball, pool, ping pong and a sector with horses, although at the moment horseback riding is not organized.
