Numerous Los Angeles-based US stars have now reported losing their homes in the devastating fires.
They are the first and probably not the last US stars to report the loss of their home via social media or public statements. The devastating fires in Los Angeles, including in the upscale Pacific Palisades neighborhood, have already destroyed more than 1,000 buildings. Among the burned houses are apparently the villas of celebrities such as Billy Crystal (76), Paris Hilton (43), Anna Faris (48) and Adam Brody (45).
Comedian Crystal and his wife Janice published , which reads, among other things: “Janice and I lived in our house since 1979. We raised our children and grandchildren here. Every inch of our house was filled with love. Beautiful memories that cannot be taken away can.” Of course, her heart is broken over this loss, “but with the love of our children and friends we will get through this. We pray for the safety of the firefighters and first responders.”
“Raised to the ground”
which shows the apocalyptic conditions on site, actress Mandy Moore (40) also mourns the loss of her neighborhood: “I am shocked and feel numb to everything that so many have lost, including my family. My children’s school is Gone. Our favorite restaurants, razed to the ground. So many friends and loved ones lost everything.”
Paris Hilton released . According to her, this also shows pictures of her destroyed house in Malibu: “We created so many valuable memories in this house. This is where Phoenix took his first steps and we dreamed of creating unforgettable memories for life with London.”
“The Princess Bride” star Cary Elwes (62) says she is also one of the celebrities whose property burned down. “Sadly we lost our home, but we are grateful to have survived this truly devastating fire,” it said.
Other US stars whose homes were destroyed by the fires include John Goodman (72), “Nobody Wants This” actor Adam Brody, “Scary Movie” celebrity Anna Faris and “American Pie” star Eugene Levy (78).
